So it's been a while, I know. But these last few months have not been spent idle. Besides getting a promotion at
Ax-Man (yeah, my gig has street cred) I've been gearing up for the Saint Paul Art Crawl. I figured I could either spend the time working on a single large scale project -Amy's been pushing for a cardboard chandelier- or produce a small body of work. I went with the ladder as I figured it would fill a wall better.

This is by no means the body of work I started in it's entirety, merely the pieces I finished and, er... framed. As luck would have it, there may be another calling for this instillation. About two months back, I walked into a coffee shop
-Alright! It was a Starbucks, I'm sorry.
At any rate, the manager, upon seeing my hat asked if I was an artist. Apparently, only artists wear hats. I'm tempted to make an "I'm an Artist" hat: bright yellow with an arrow pointing down. This particular hat is of the cowboy variety. I'm not sure why she didn't ask if I were a cowboy but it may have been my "I'm Not a Cowboy" T-shirt. Turns out she's in need of something to hang on her walls and is eager to fill the space with local work. I'll keep you posted. Till then, enjoy!
